Co-managed by Alex Dallas and Ron Shiller, the label has positioned itself at the forefront of Europe's deep house scene, pushing a warm but tech-infused take on the genre. The Drumpoems compilation series is its only venture into the CD market so far, but instead of just rounding up the numerous 12-inches that have been issued on the label, the idea is to dedicate each volume to previously unreleased material and exclusive edits of older Drumpoet cuts.
Hunch (AKA Hunee), Quarion, Langenberg, Azuni, Cavalier, Kawabata and Dallas' own The Lost Men collective all offer brand new contributions
to Verse 2, while Drumpoet favourites from the likes of Soultourist and Manuel Tur & Dplay get a fresh lick of paint from their original creators.
